CUET (PG)
Introduction
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into UG/PG programmes in Central and participating Universities for the academic session 2024-26. CUET will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from North East and rural areas, helping to establish a better connection with the Universities. A single examination will enable candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.
Role of NTA
The role of the NTA is confined to the registration of candidates, conducting the test, hosting the answer key, inviting challenges, finalizing answer keys, preparing and declaring results, and hosting scorecards. The merit list will be prepared by participating Universities/organizations, and Universities may conduct their individual counseling based on the CUET (PG)-2024 scorecard provided by the NTA.
CUET (PG) has 20 different test patterns. Different PG programs/Universities opt for different entrance papers/patterns based on their requirements. Most Universities accepting CUET (PG) scores for their MBA programs have opted for the test paper COQP12.
